Stretching Tips

As the weather warms up, I see students getting active in school - playing sports like basketball and badminton, or hitting the gym. But I also notice many sitting for long periods indoors. While we often think of exercise as just cardio and strength training, there's another crucial part: stretching. Start slowly and listen to your body: Begin each stretch gently and gradually, paying attention to how your body responds. Hold each stretch for about 15-30 seconds, breathing deeply and evenly throughout. If you feel any discomfort or pain, ease off the stretch immediately. Remember, stretching should feel good and relaxing, not painful. And don't forget to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water before and after stretching to keep your muscles flexible and healthy.

REMINDER!

Get better at school by doing stretches! Spend just a few minutes each day stretching your body. It helps you focus, relax, and be ready for anything. Stretching isn't just for athletes—it's for everyone who wants to do well. Give it a try and see how much it helps you in school!
