“Golden Years, Echoes of All Things.” The lively rhythm of school-opening allegros spurred the steps of students and teachers in organizing the Book Week. With joint efforts, the traditional Book Week was successfully held, presenting a spectacular event. Looking back at this Book Week, there were a total of five activities and six stalls – charity sale of Ulink Anthology, promotion of the Book Club, book cover design competition, bookmark design, badge making, book donation, and book swap.

Students fully unleashed their creativity and made good use of artistic colors on their original works, creating unique masterpieces. Colorful lines drew dreamy and graceful spines. Black and white colors formed unique artistic conceptions. The book covers independently created by students were beautiful and profound. Support stickers of various colors and shapes jumped onto the paper; this active participation in Book Week doubled as appreciation for the covers as well as praise and acclaim for the creators, helping their ingenious ideas win awards.

With exquisite cover designs, there are bound to be astonishing books. Ulink students, with their unique literary qualities, gave free rein to their imaginations. They traversed the world of literature and created their own realms. After strict and careful selection, their works were compiled into books, creating a new history. At this year’s Book Week charity sale event, Whispers In The Hallway: A Ulink Anthology, a culmination of efforts from The Daily Link Editing Team and students, served as the item for sale and contributed to charitable activities.

Book Week would not have been possible without the active participation and preparation of students. From the design and production of promotional posters to the donation and collection of books for charitable fundraising, and then to the unique classroom door decoration for Book Week under the guidance of teachers, students spontaneously participated in various activities and were able to contribute greatly to Book Week.

The classrooms during Book Week had unique charm. All kinds of handwritten posters, colorful graphics, and decorations were arranged on the classroom doors, presenting a distinctive ambiance. Classic characters and locations in books were recorded in photos and exhibited on the door panels together with bookmarks.

Book Week also created a rich artistic atmosphere for students. On the last day of Book Week, students were able to dress up as characters in books and enjoy a special day. In addition, the carefully prepared music performances cultivated students’ sentiments on Friday. Amid the melodious sounds of flutes, violins, and guitars, Book Week slowly came to an end.

The tradition of Book Week continues. Held with innovations every year. The activities of the 2024 Book Week quietly ended on September 25. Students participated, read books together, gave full rein to their imagination together, won awards together, and looked forward to the future in the world of literature together!
